Finish line!
I have to say that I already knew I was a nerd, but I discovered that I'm an uber nerd after doing this. Self awareness is a good thing, right?
NetLibrary home of the Estuff
What I like about Netlibrary is that it's really easy to navigate. Once you get your username and password it's pretty self-explanatory.

Rollyo
I didn't know what to make so I just threw a bunch of my anime/manga resources together to make an anime search roll. I'm not sure how much I'll use my Rollyo account but it's nice to know I have the option of putting all my favorite websites in one place for one big search instead of a bunch of separate ones.
I actually think it would come in handy for people who are just learning to use the Internet. As much as I love Google I'm always hesitant to have someone new to computers trying to learn search engines when the possibility is high they'll end up somewhere shady. I think a site like Rollyo would be great for making a safe search engine for someone who just wants to practice getting information until they learn what signs they need to watch for on those unsafe websites.
I'm sleepy.
I'll post the last of my 23 things tomorrow.

23 Things, Week 8
^Okay so I picked that video for one reason. I was watching funny commercials with a friend the other night and she sent me this one. Best deodorant commercial ever.
As far as podcasts go, there are only two that I follow. One would be 4 Player Podcast which is four guys who play video games on live stream. That's probably my favorite, but it wouldn't be appropriate to link here.
The other one I listen to from time to time is harperteens. Usually they have authors on to talk about their new books coming out. You can find that one here. I found that one when I was looking up Michele Jaffe.

Zoho, Zoho, it's off to work we go
That can be a real hassle, so I definitely see the perks if more people would use Zoho.
Number 1. HELLO, it's free.
Number 2. None of this "file won't open" crap. Only thing you would have to worry about is if the site would have some down time. Big deal, you might have to plan ahead.
Number 3. Your documents are all saved right there in your account. If your computer crashes THEY WILL STILL BE THERE. VICTORY!
Number 4. Again. It's FREE.
Moving on to the catalog search -- I use the catalog every time I'm at work. What I like about it is that it's very user-friendly. I always liked that I could reserve things from home, and often I log in to check to see what items I still have.

Wikiddy doo da
I'm also a frequent user of the "wikia" pages. I mainly use them for looking up facts that happened in a video game I played awhile ago. Two of my favorites are the Ace Attorney, and the Fire Emblem wikias. Probably my favorite thing to do is look up character profiles to get more details on the characters in the game.
I might eventually make my own wiki but I don't need one at the moment. If I would ever get involved in a project with a group of people it would be my first thought to make a Wiki for us to keep each other up to date.
So yeah, wikis are awesome.

Delicious and Technorati
I think Delicious is a great idea. I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten a website I wanted to visit again, or marked something in my favorites and when I went to use it I couldn't find it.
I also spent some time on Technorati. I think I'd use that more if I knew exactly what I was looking for. I did find some interesting blogs with some of the searches I did. I spent a lot of time looking up art blogs. I found a couple I might start to follow.
I've been using tags for awhile but now I feel like I know more about them, and that I can use them better to my advantage. I notice more and more websites incorporating tags into their formats. I think it's a great way to keep organized. Which I don't know about you guys, but I can use all the help I can get!

Thing #9 and Thing # 11

I had a blast with the generators and I already bookmarked the websites for future use. I used the candy heart generator on imagechef for the graphic above. If you wanna make your own click here!
Since Rollyo is still undergoing "maintainance" (LOL, Their spelling, not mine.) I'm going to skip ahead and also link my glog --
This took me forever and a half to make. I was brainstorming about what to do with it, and my mom said "NO PHOENIX WRIGHT," so instead of just doing Phoenix Wright I did anything mystery/crime related that I like. =D (He's still there though. HA!) I really don't like the fingerprint background but it was all I could find. I guess fingerprints aren't very popular. Huh.
It's really in your face and kinda painful on the eyes. I apologize. LOL.
It was interesting working in glogster. I might try it again the future.
I'm going to go die now. Will do Thing 10 when the site goes back up.
EDIT: I got rid of that horrible blue background. It's still obnoxious but at least it's not blue. ;D

Adventures with RSS
I had a lot of fun working in Bloglines and learning how to use the website. I already used RSS feeds by saving them into my favorites menu under the "Feeds" tab. I like doing it that way just because it's a bit faster and I don't have to login anywhere to get to my feeds.
However, what's great about Blogline is that if your computer ever gets a virus you won't lose all the feeds you subscribed to. (Unless you back-up your favorites menu frequently, which I do not.) I recently experienced this and it's not a fun time. Another thing I like about using Bloglines is that I can access it anywhere I have internet. That way if I'm at a friends house all I have to do is enter my info and bam, all my feeds right there.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. If you're interested in what I subscribed to here's my account.

Flickr-ing
So I wasn't sure how to go about picking a picture for this. Then on a whim I decided to look up cosplay photos. I'm really interested in cosplay as an art form. I think it's pretty amazing how people can make such detailed costumes.
Anyway, I picked this picture because I'm currently playing a Legend of Zelda game (the girl is cosplaying Zelda) and I think this particular picture matches the atmosphere of the games extremely well.
If you're interested in more of Totally Toasty Photography's cosplay photos click here.

And so the fun begins
Here's to the new adventure!
